CAAT Milestones

Check Forthcoming Batch

ICAI Members desirous of doing the CPE Course on CAAT are requested to be in touch with their Regional Office/ Branch/ CPE Chapter and check availability of a batch in the near future before enrolling for the course to avoid waiting for a batch. Members to indicate their preference to join a batch to the Chairman/ Vice Chairman/ Secretary of the Regional Council/ Branch and/ or CPE Chapter Convenor. This would facilitate formation of batches convenient for the members.

Course Registration

Members are required to register with the Committee on Information Technology (CIT) well in time by filling the online registration form for the CPE Course on CAAT that is available on the official website of the Institute atwww.icai.org and the ISA Portal at http://isai.cai.org. After filling the online form, candidates are expected to take a printout of the form, sign it and send it the CIT Secretariat along with the course registration fee of Rs.1,500/-.

Course Registration Letter & Course Materials

The CIT Secretariat would arrange to provide the Course Registration Letter for the CPE Course on CAAT and dispatch the Course Background Materials within about a week of receipt of completed application forms. Hence, the candidates are requested to submit their forms well in time so that they get the materials before the start of a batch.

Practical Training of CPE Course on CAAT by ICAI Regional Council/ Branch/ CPE Chapter

The CPE Course is a practical hands-on training on use of computers for accounting/ auditing/ financial analysis & reporting requirements. The practical training for the CPE Course on CAAT is to be organized by ICAI Regional Council/ Branch/ CPE Chapter, who are the designated POU’s for the course. Members have to register with their Regional Council/ Branch/ CPE Chapter by paying Paractical Training fee, as decided by the POU within the price band of Rs.4,500/- to Rs.6,000/-.

Candidates participating in the CPE Course on CAAT are required to be in touch with the Chairman/ Vice Chairman/ Secretary of the Regional Council/ Branch and/ or CPE Chapter Convener for the improvements/ course corrections required w.r.t. course arrangements/ facilities/ faculty/ computer facilities etc locally.

CPE Hours Certificate

Candidates are required to attend minimum 90% classes to successfully complete the CPE Course on CAAT and get the CPE Hours Certificate giving the designated CPE Hours for the course, currently 20 Hours. The CPE Hours Certificate would be issued by the CPE Committee of the Institute after the concerned CAAT POU updates your attendance on the CPE Portal.
